Jordan+Bateman Architects are lead designers and Architects for the refurbishment of the British Chancery and Ambassador’s Residence in Paris.
The buildings are of great architectural, artistic and historical importance.
The numerous fine rooms make the upgrading of services, like renewing of mechanical and electrical systems, very challenging.

Whilst works are undertaken the Embassy will be fully functional: this requires an articulated phasing plan to allow for the majority of the premises to be safely accessible and ensuring the protection and preservation of artworks and fine details.

Photographs displayed were taken by Francis Hammond and published on the book “The British Ambassador’s Residence in Paris” by Tim Knox.
