This was a scheme to renovate run down warehouse units into high specification luxury accommodation. The strong industrial brickwork and existing ironwork was used as inspiration for the design and utilised the generous internal heights and window openings to create modern interiors while retaining elements of the buildings history.

Modern building methods and material were used to bring it in line with the latest building regulations including thermal insulation, to ensure comfort was not sacrificed for character. Jordan+Bateman Architects design ethos is that the best way to preserve historical buildings for our future is to make them viable for use in the present.
